Xan Phillips Presents...We Are Bodies

A 11 track indie rock album (32m 51s) — released April 22nd 2015 on Playdio

In this show you will hear Robin Foster and Dave Pen explain how they have slowly been drawn together to release this album under the name 'We Are Bodies'.

It is more new music for you to explore, although if you are a fan of Archive, Birdpen and Robin Foster then you'll find the album has themes and sounds you'll recognise and already love.

The vocals come from http://www.playdio.com/show/128335887735/Xan-Phillips-Presents...-Dave-Pen">Dave Pen who was featured in one of these shows way back in 2010.

He is known across Europe as one of the singer/songwriters in the esoteric Archive and also with Birdpen the the south coast project he formed with Mike Bird. Between their tours and sessions he has been collaborating with guitarist Robin Foster, an Englishman living in deepest, darkest France.

One of Dave's songs inspired Robin to compose the successful soundtrack to the tense and enigmatic 'Metro Manila' and during this show they will explain more about that process, along with their appreciation of the producer Jim Spencer and the unusual venue they recorded the vocals in.
